Yahoo! Employees Bracing for Expected Layoffs - with the best links of the day

Google
Google: also known as The Big G

.

So, it's time for the next links roundup. I've dug up stuff on Yahoo! Facebook and Google.

To kick it off, who's been discussing Yahoo? It was www.eweek.com who wrote an article called Yahoo Employees Bracing for Expected Layoffs.

What did they point out about Yahoo? They said:
Yahoo employees are bracing for a corporate restructuring and a serious round of layoffs, if one believes a report issued March 5 from the Dow Jones IT news site, AllThingsD
and went on to say
A source close to Yahoo told eWEEK that the company already has started the process of laying offemployees. The company reported 13,100full-time employees in 2011, and a high percentage of them may find themselvesunemployed by month's end.

Next up it's a site that's been writing about Google - Day Spas: Perfect for Mother-Daughter Bonding.

They said:
Have you been looking for a way to spend more time with your teenage daughter?
... interesting ...
Put together your work hours with her school hours, after school activities, homework and her friends and you start to realize how little time you actually have left in the week. Don t let that stop you from planning a great mother-daughter adventure. One of the best ideas to consider is booking an appointment for both of you at your favorite day spa

Finally we have Facebook Rolls Out Offers for Some from www.marketingpilgrim.com, focussing on Facebook. They had some interesting points to make, particularly
I was tempted to start this post with a sentence about Facebook making an offer you can't refuse but that would be cliche and I'm better than that, right?
and
(Hush, you.)
