That's not to say that other payments companies and even merchants aren't trying to solve this problem for merchants as well. . There are a number of startups such as Belly, Chatterfly, PunchTab and others trying to disrupt traditional loyalty programs for merchants and consumers. SCVGR spin-off LevelUp is also creating a payments and loyalty roll-up for businesses

and went on to say
But if you'll forgive me for saying so, Mr. President, I think you're barking up the wrong tree. . Tech is a young, fast-moving field, and tends to regulate itself, perhaps because the Internet is the collective medium of billions, and tyrants don't live long here. And to be honest, laws passed by the U.S. are considered more rough guidelines, to be transgressed at will by individuals or multinationals

Googler: SEO Is A Bug, And The Big G Is Trying To Fix It - plus my selection of links for the day

So, it's time for yet another glance at the best of the web. I've found some interesting links on Google, Amazon.com and Yahoo!

So, let's see who's been writing about Google? It was www.webpronews.com who wrote an article called Googler: SEO Is A Bug, And Google Is Trying To Fix It.

What did they say about Google? Well...:
Six days ago, a Google engineer, who just started with the company this year, posted to Hacker News to ask, "What is so evil about adding social networking features to everyone's account?"

Many mom and pops were able to use the internet to grow their small businesses to be medium-size companies and, in some cases, large corporations. . Amazon is a stiff competitor to Wal-mart (which also started as a Mom and Pop) and is, in part, responsible for the demise of Borders Bookstores. (Ultimately, the demise of Borders was its own fault. "Adapt or die." They didn't do the former so the latter snuck up on them!)

Yahoo's chairman of the board, Roy Bostock, is leaving the company

OK, who's been writing about Amazon? It was techland.time.com who wrote an article called The Amazon Store of My Dreams.

What did they point out about Amazon? Well...:
As a long-time Amazon addict-I suspect I give it more of my money than I do any other single merchant-I instinctively like the idea of an Amazon store
and went on to say
I also understand why Amazon itself might like like the idea of such an establishment. Lots of people will order a Kindle over the web, sight unseen, but some folks would prefer to try one in person. And while Kindles are available at a bevy of retailers these days-everywhere from RadioShack to airport shops-Amazon has little or no control over the quality of the salesmanship provided by its retail partners. None of them offer an Apple Store-level shopping experience. Or, really, anything as pleasant as Amazon's own website.
