Animated Equus ferus caballus in Motion The Big G Doodle Honors Eadweard Muybridge, Motion Picture Pioneer - and my other links of the day

I've been preparing for a look at most interesting links of the day. We'll be talking about Google, NASA and Facebook.

Google
Google: also known as The Big G

.

First things first, let's see who's been discussing Google? It was searchenginewatch.com who wrote an article called Animated Horse in Motion Google Doodle Honors Eadweard Muybridge, Motion Picture Pioneer.

What did they point out about Google? Well...:
A Google Doodle today is paying tribute to motion picture innovator Eadweard J
and went on to say
Muybridge, a man whose 1878 series of photos known as The Horse in Motion was a precursor to motion pictures, television, and video-sharing sites such as YouTube

Next up we have a site that's been talking about NASA - Open Government is Go for Launch at NASA.

They said:
NASA has revamped its two-year-old Open Government Plan with a new website and a commitment to building a community-focused online architecture, featuring new tools for data sharing and open source development
... sounds interesting ...
The new Open Government Plan, "Flagship Initiative," is the creation of an "accessible, participatory and transparent web environment," a goal reflected in the new site. Users are welcomed to a colorful, easy-to-read and easy-to-browse database of NASA projects and information - and they're encouraged to comment on everything.

Last but not least it's Will Spam Turn Mobile Users Off? from technorati.com, focussing on Facebook. The wrote good quality stuff, particularly
It has been said that 97 percent of text messages are read within four minutes
and
In fact, we know that many are viewed in a shorter window than that. If we're not those people ourselves, we have likely experienced family members, friends, and others who rudely take themselves out of a conversation to respond to the bing or ding of their phones
