The Big G Preparing Its Own Tablet Store To Compete With iPad - with the best links of the day

I've been warming up for another links roundup. I've found some interesting links on Google, Benchmark Capital and Facebook.

First things first, who's been talking about Google? It was www.webpronews.com who wrote an article called Google Preparing Its Own Tablet Store To Compete With iPad.

Google is preparing to launch an online store to sell its forthcoming Google-branded tablet directly, according to recent reports
and went on to say
The online store would mimic the direct sales method employed by Apple and Amazon to sell their iPad and Kindle Fire tablets, respectively


Next up it's a site that's been talking about Benchmark Capital - Social, Mobile Video Sharing App Klip Doubles Down On Visual Effects In New Version.

They said:
And the startup just raised $8 million in Series B funding from Benchmark Capital, Matrix Partners and Alain Rossmann (the founder of the company)
... interesting ...
Klip has been steadily updating its app since launch last year, most recently adding suggested recommendations, and SMS functionality.
