Googler: SEO Is A Bug, And The Big G Is Trying To Fix It - plus my selection of links for the day

So, it's time for yet another glance at the best of the web. I've found some interesting links on Google, Amazon.com and Yahoo!

So, let's see who's been writing about Google? It was www.webpronews.com who wrote an article called Googler: SEO Is A Bug, And Google Is Trying To Fix It.

Google
Google: also known as The Big G

.

What did they say about Google? Well...:
Six days ago, a Google engineer, who just started with the company this year, posted to Hacker News to ask, "What is so evil about adding social networking features to everyone's account?"
and went on to say
"You have a Docs account and a Picasa account too, even if you don't use them, and nobody complains about that," he wrote. "What's the difference between Docs and Google+?"

Amazon.com
Amazon.com: http://Amazon.com

.

Next it's a site that's been writing about Amazon.com - Put Your Business in its Place or Your Marketing Campaign Will.

They said:
Jeff Bezos started a small online bookstore and turned it into one of the largest online retailers in the world, Amazon.com
... OK ...
Many mom and pops were able to use the internet to grow their small businesses to be medium-size companies and, in some cases, large corporations. . Amazon is a stiff competitor to Wal-mart (which also started as a Mom and Pop) and is, in part, responsible for the demise of Borders Bookstores. (Ultimately, the demise of Borders was its own fault. "Adapt or die." They didn't do the former so the latter snuck up on them!)

Last but not least it's Yahoo Chairman Steps Down from mashable.com, focussing on Yahoo. They had some interesting points to make, particularly
Yahoo's chairman of the board, Roy Bostock, is leaving the company
and
Bostock has been chairman since 2008
