Hyperpublic Could Help Groupon Compete With The Big G In Local Search - also the best of the web

I've been warming up for the next links roundup. I've found some interesting links on Google, Facebook and Siemens.

Google
Google: also known as The Big G

.

So, who's been discussing Google? It was www.webpronews.com who wrote an article called Hyperpublic Could Help Groupon Compete With Google In Local Search.

What did they point out about Google? Well...:
So Google wants to enter Groupon's turf?
and went on to say
Maybe Groupon will just enter Google's

Next we have a site that's been talking about Facebook - CrunchBase: Social, Mobile And Deals Categories Led 2011 Private Tech Investments.

They said:
Out of this, Facebook alone was $1.5 billion; out of the 1,941 companies that were included in this analysis, Facebook alone raised 7.3% of the $20.5 billion total
... sounds interesting ...
421 Companies with the "social" tag in CrunchBase raised a total of $5.2 billion over the year.

Lastly we have Dell, Siemens Collaborate on Cloud Medical Image Storage from www.eweek.com, focussing on Siemens. The wrote good quality stuff, particularly
Dell and Siemens are coming together to provide a massive amount of cloud storage space for medical images
and
The two companies will create the Siemens Image Sharing and Archiving (ISA) service, which will provide a cloud platform for vendor-neutral image archiving and sharing. ISA will incorporate Dell's Unified Clinical Archive. The Dell archive will also provide redundant archiving support for the Siemens Healthcare Cloud Computing Center.
